My Homemade Italian Dressing is a staple in this house. I’ve been making the exact same dressing for many many years and everyone always loves it. If I don’t have it on hand, they ask for it!
I use an easy to use shaker bottle to make the dressing. It makes it easier to measure and shake it to mix all the ingredients. Then I put it in a pretty glass carafe for serving or store in a mason jar.
What’s great about this recipe is you can use it as a marinade for chicken, put it on your salad, use it on pasta salad. It’s zesty, easy and delicious and it’s a family favorite!

How do you store salad dressing with olive oil?
For this dressing, I always store it in the pantry however, we usually use it up within 2 weeks. If you don’t plan on using it often (within at least 2 weeks) then I would store it in the refrigerator. You will need to let it sit at room temperature so it’s easier to pour.
